Wellsworth Aviator's Goggles
Wellsworth Aviator Goggles were made of glass lenses which sit in a metal frame with leather flaps and an elastic band. These goggles were produced by The American Optical Company which also made telescope, gun and bomb sights during the First World War. Located in Southbridge, Massachusetts, the company dates back well into the 19th Century and was run by the Wells family for many generations, thus the name of these goggles: "Wellsworth."
