Höhenmesser für Flugzeuge No. 6684 by G. Lufft, Stuttgart, calibrated 0 to 4,000 metres. It was designed to be suspended on springs attached to the cabane struts of the upper wing and positioned in the pilot's forward field of vision. Case alone is 25 mm by 70 mm in diameter. This specific instrument is shown in a contemporary black and white depicting the instruments carried on German aircraft. Another example of this instrument is shown, as well.
