Halberstadt CL.IV (Rol) 8103/18 Fabric

This is a small example measuring approximately 9-1/2 in. x 1-5/8 in. or 24 cm x 4.1 cm of five-color, irregular polygon lozenge upper-surface printed fabric. It is identified by its prior owners' to be from Halberstadt CL. IV (Rol) 8103/18.  Having been restored in Germany, this aircraft is now on display at The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's annex at Washington Dulles International Airport, which is shown below.  Dan-San Abbott kindly assisted in researching this artifact and his location of this portion of the fabric on his five-color pattern is shown below, as well.
